Menu, Friday Host Night: "Around Britain" buffet


English - Fish and chips, cockles and whelks, jellied eels, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding
Scottish - Haggis, turnip and potato, Cockaleekie soup, Lobscaws (lamb stew)
Welsh - Caws (vegetable and barley broth), Anglesey eggs (leeks and eggs topped with mashed potato), Barabrith (marinated fruit cake),
Celtic - Cullen skink (Haddock and potato broth), Chranekin (biscuit fool with cream) Irish - Irish stew, potato cakes, Boxtey (Grated potato cake)
